The right document for the program

Programs ask for different paperwork. Some want an invoice, some a receipt after payment, and programs paid through Odyssey want a service record, never an invoice to the family. ChoicePaid picks the document from the student's program, and each program guide explains why, with a link to the official rule.

What the program check looks at

Every draft is checked before you send it. The checks include:

  • Your business details, the student's name and the parent or guardian where the program requires them
  • A date of service on every line, and line items that say what was delivered
  • Price caps and units the program sets
  • Anything you've been rejected for before in that program (see rejections)

Each check links to the rule it comes from. A draft with a failing check can't be marked submitted until it's fixed.

When a rule changes

ChoicePaid watches the official sources behind every rule. If one changes, drafts that rely on it are flagged, and the rule-change alerts tell you what changed.

Sending it

Download the PDF and upload it to the program's platform, or email it to the family from the invoice page. ChoicePaid never submits anything to a program for you: you stay in control of what's sent. After you submit, mark the invoice submitted so payment tracking starts.
