Do you take a percentage of my ESA or scholarship payments?
No, and we never will. ChoicePaid is a flat monthly subscription. We don't touch, hold or process education funds, and what you earn from families' accounts is yours.
Can I pay for ChoicePaid with ESA or scholarship funds?
No. ChoicePaid is a business tool for providers, not an education expense for a student, so it isn't something to buy with a family's education account. Pay for it like any other software your business uses.
What's in the free version of each tool?
The payment checker reads your whole Orders CSV and shows your totals, weekly forecast and the first 3 orders that need action. The offering checker checks one offering at a time, or counts a whole CSV and shows the first 3 to fix. The planner covers one program. Guides, checklists, the receipt checker, invoice builder and payout tracker are fully free. Solo and Pro unlock the full results, saving and emails.
What does the payment tracker do that the free checker doesn't?
The free checker reads one Orders CSV and forgets it. The tracker saves each order, checks every one against the net-30 rule each morning and emails you the day an order passes day 30 unpaid or when a delivered order never started the clock. It also measures how long your payments actually take and shows what's coming due by week.
Does ChoicePaid connect to my Odyssey account?
No. Odyssey has no public vendor API, so you download the Orders CSV from your vendor portal and add it to the tracker, about a minute a week. We never ask for your Odyssey or Stripe login, and we email you when it's time for a fresh file.
What do you save from my Orders CSV?
Only the order number, offering name, amount, order and fulfilled dates and whether it's paid or cancelled. Never family names, student names or anything else in the file. You can download or delete it all from your account at any time.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, in two clicks from Plan and billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. Your saved data stays in your account until you delete it.
Who handles billing and sales tax?
Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, is the merchant of record. It runs checkout, charges any sales tax or VAT, sends receipts and invoices and hosts the page where you change your card or cancel.
How do team seats work on Pro?
Pro includes three people. Add teammates by email from Plan and billing; they sign in with their own email and share your payment tracker, application planner and catalog watch. Remove someone any time.
Will ChoicePaid get me approved or paid faster?
We can't promise outcomes that programs and their payment platforms control. What we do is make sure you know, the same day, when an order needs your action or a question to support, using each program's own published rules.
