For microschools and small schools
Tuition billing that runs itself on the 1st
Split tuition between each child's ESA or scholarship and the family, bill from attendance, and get every month's invoices drafted and checked against each program's rules, automatically.
Unlimited students · 10 staff seats · 10 GB encrypted storage
How it works
- 1
Set your tuition plans
A flat monthly amount, or a day rate billed from attendance. Say how much each program pays; the rest is the family's private-pay share.
- 2
Enroll your students
Each child keeps their own program (ESA, voucher or scholarship), so every document follows that program's rules.
- 3
Take attendance in one screen
Mark everyone present in a tap, then fix the exceptions. Per-day charges follow your edits until they're invoiced.
- 4
On the 1st, review and send
Last month is charged and every draft invoice is created and checked automatically. Fix anything flagged, then submit or email.
Everything a school needs to get paid
Split billing done right
The program's share goes on a document built for that program's rules; the family's share goes on a separate private-pay invoice. Program rules never apply to what families pay you directly.
Per-day tuition from attendance
Bill a day rate for days attended (present and tardy, and excused if you choose). Change attendance before invoicing and the charge updates itself.
Automatic month-end
Turn it on once. In the first week of each month, last month is billed and your inbox gets a summary of the drafts. Run it by hand any time.
One statement per family
Siblings share one household and one monthly statement, with one compliant invoice per child.
Enrollment letters and records
Print enrollment letters with dates and attendance, records binders and progress reports, and keep signed forms in encrypted storage.
Families follow along free
Families see each child's invoices, schedule and shared notes, track their award across every provider, and tell you when they've paid.
Cash flow you can plan on
An 8-week forecast of what lands when, by program, plus revenue, days to paid and an inbox for what needs doing.
Connected
Calendar sync, QuickBooks and Xero exports, and an API with signed webhooks for your enrollment system.
Families stay in the loop, free
Parents connect a free ChoicePaid family account to your records. They see invoices and shared notes, follow their award across every provider, and tell you with one tap when they've requested payment or paid their share.
What families getQuestions
Does ChoicePaid work with ClassWallet, Odyssey and Step Up?
Yes. ChoicePaid builds the document each program expects (an invoice, a receipt or a service record) and checks it against that program's published rules. You submit it in the program's own platform; we never handle the money.
What if a family pays part of tuition themselves?
Set how much the program pays in each tuition plan. ChoicePaid puts the program's share and the family's share on separate documents, so private pay never ends up on a program invoice.
Can we bill per day instead of monthly?
Yes. A per-day plan bills days attended from your attendance. Present and tardy days count, excused days count only if you choose, and absences never do.
Can teachers take attendance?
Yes. School includes 10 people sharing one workspace. Owners see an activity log of who viewed or changed records.
What happens on the 1st?
If automatic month-end is on, last month's tuition is charged and every unbilled session becomes a draft invoice, checked against its program. Nothing is submitted for you: you review the drafts first.
How much does it cost?
School is $79 a month or $790 a year, with unlimited students, 10 seats and 10 GB of encrypted storage. It's a flat price; we never take a percentage of education funds.
