Sponsored listings
Paid placement, clearly labeled, for verified owners only. The official list stays exactly as the state publishes it.
What does "Sponsored" mean?
The provider paid ChoicePaid to be shown in a highlighted section at the top of directory pages for their state and their type of service. At most 3 sponsored providers appear on a page, and the order rotates daily.
Does sponsoring change the directory itself?
No. Every provider on a state's official list appears in the list, in the same place, whether or not anyone sponsors. Sponsored providers are shown again above the list; the list's contents, order, badges and filters don't change.
Does ChoicePaid recommend sponsored providers?
No. Sponsorship is advertising, not a review or an endorsement. It doesn't mean a provider is approved by a program (the official list is what shows approval), and it doesn't mean they're better than anyone else. Check that any provider is right for your child.
Who can sponsor?
Only a provider who has claimed their listing and whose claim we verified, so no one can sponsor a business they don't run. If their claim is ever withdrawn, their sponsorship stops showing.
I'm a provider. How do I sponsor?
Claim your listing from your directory page, and once it's verified, sponsor it from your account. It's $19 a month, cancel any time, and you can see how many families viewed and clicked it.
