Everything CHOOSE Act covers

How Bridgeway Academy gets paid

Families order and pay through ClassWallet. Here's what happens on the provider's side, from CHOOSE Act's official rules. ChoicePaid doesn't handle payments.

  • After a payment is approved, ClassWallet emails you a confirmation, and the money should settle in your bank account within 2 to 10 business days.3
  • All ESA payments and purchases must go through ClassWallet; there is no reimbursement to families.4
  • Families pay you through ClassWallet's Pay Vendor, and every service needs an invoice. Without one, the family can't pay you.5

Price caps to know

  • Computers: under $1,200, one every two school years per student. Technological aids: $500 a year per student (headphones and keyboards $100, mice $40). Microscopes and telescopes $250. 3D printers aren't approved.2

Before you book

  1. 1Check that Bridgeway Academy has an approved offering for what you need in ClassWallet. Being on the list doesn't mean every service is approved.
  2. 2Ask what's included, the total price and any fees before you commit.
  3. 3If they bill you directly, make sure the invoice has every field CHOOSE Act requires. Build a compliant invoice
