How providers get paid in CHOOSE Act

Families pay approved providers through ClassWallet. The provider's side, from the program's official rules:

Funding: $7,000 per student enrolled in a participating school, or $2,000 per home-education student (capped at $4,000 per family).1

  • After a payment is approved, ClassWallet emails you a confirmation, and the money should settle in your bank account within 2 to 10 business days.2
  • All ESA payments and purchases must go through ClassWallet; there is no reimbursement to families.1
  • Families pay you through ClassWallet's Pay Vendor, and every service needs an invoice. Without one, the family can't pay you.3
