How FEPPY gets paid

Families order and pay through the Hope Scholarship program. Here's what happens on the provider's side, from Hope Scholarship's official rules. ChoicePaid doesn't handle payments.

  • All transactions happen in the online Hope Scholarship portal and arrive in your bank account as an ACH deposit from "Theodore PMT". Funds can never be passed back to the family directly.1
  • You may only be paid for services actually delivered. If a student prepaid and didn't receive the service, refund the account (prorated if partly delivered), generally within 30 days.2
  • The portal rejects service offerings that don't fit the legal definition of qualifying expenses.1
